Analytic Systems manufactures a wide range of battery chargers that operate from either AC or DC sources recharge virtually any type of battery from 12 to 72 (rail) volts at power levels from 100 to 1500 watts.

All models feature heavy EMI filtering to minimize conducted and radiated emissions, preventing interference with sensitive communications equipment. Other features include no-spark battery connection, reverse battery hookup protection and adjustable float and absorption voltages.

AC Input Battery Chargers

Our AC Chargers are available as two-stage or two and three-stage chargers capable of charging one or two banks of 12, 16, 24, 28, 32, 36, 48, 72V (rail) or other voltage battery banks, and are designed to quickly and accurately charge and condition batteries.

Next generation IBC series chargers are fully Digital Signal Processor controlled and feature Universal Input Voltage from 85 to 265 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz with Active Power Factor Correction for the most efficient use of AC power.

Four charging profiles are available with easy front panel selection to handle most types of batteries from traditional Lead Acid, Sealed Lead Acid and even Lithium Ion.

The free to download ‘Power Wizard’ software allows full programming and selection of each of the four profiles from a laptop computer. 300 models for 1 or 2 banks of 12, 24, 28, 32, 36 or 48 Volt batteries are available.

Traditional BCA series chargers feature precision charging voltages for 1, 2 or 3 banks of batteries at 12, 24, 32, 36, 48 or 72 VDC. Models are available to operate from 110VAC or 220VAC or auto-switching between either voltage at 50, 60 or 400 Hz.
Power levels range from 300 to 1500 watts. All models feature user selectable 2-stage or 3-stage charging profiles, temperature compensation and user initiated equalization for optimum charging and maximum battery life.

These units provide up to 800 watts to charge 1 or 2 banks of batteries at 12 or 24 VDC from a 12, 24, 32 or 36 volt source. Also available are special models (Battery Equalizers) that allow current to be drawn at 12 or 24 volts from a 24V battery bank.

Isolated
High-Voltage DC Source Chargers

Available in Digital or Analog technology, these isolated DC-DC units charge 1 or 2 banks of batteries between 12 and 72(rail) volts from a 12 to 350 VDC power sources at power levels from 300 to 1500 watts.

Next generation isolated IBC-DC series chargers are fully Digital Signal Processor controlled and feature an extra wide Input Voltage range from 70 to 350 VDC.

Four charging profiles are available with easy front panel selection to handle most types of batteries from traditional Lead Acid, Sealed Lead Acid and even Lithium Ion.

The BCH10 Step Down series of Battery Chargers supply up to 10 amps of charging current at 12, 24, 36 or 48 volts from any higher voltage between 20 and 80 volts DC for use in automotive, heavy equipment, marine, industrial, rail or alternative energy environments. The output voltage is configured to allow permanent connection to the battery.

All surface mount high frequency design offers higher reliability, higher efficiency (more than 91%), more power (up to 544 watts at 48 VDC Out) and minimum size.

The unit has reverse input protection, reverse battery connection protection, and output over-voltage protection and features spark free connection to the battery. Smart Ideal Diode output circuitry prevents any reverse current flowing from the battery back into the converter.

Most models feature user selectable 2-stage or 3-stage charging profiles, temperature compensation and user initiated equalization for optimum charging and maximum battery life.

Various models feature either common ground for lower cost or full isolation where different ground levels need to be accommodated (ie. Charging a positive ground battery from a negative ground source or vice-versa).

The reliable Current Mode switching design offers power and reliability in a compact package. The low ripple charging current and standard equalize cycle greatly increases the lifetime of expensive battery systems. Extra input and output filtering reduce EMI to extremely low levels.

Reliability features include an input fuse, thermal shutdown, current limiting, reverse battery hookup protection and output short circuit protection with automatic recovery.

The output voltage is easily adjusted 1.0 volts above or below the standard output voltage to accommodate special charging requirements. Optional features include a Digital Volt/Ammeter, Remote Control Panel, and 19” or 23″ Rack Mount configurations.
