Analytic Systems provides High Performance Voltage Converters for US Navy LPDs
Analytic Systems, a Canadian manufacturer of high performance power conversion products for military, commercial/industrial applications has won a contract for Northrop Grumman, Ship Systems through one of its US dealers, in Alabama. Two voltage converters, model numbers VTC315 and VTC615, will be used on 4 LPD ships now and 5 more in the future.
Analytic Systems, of Surrey, B.C., Canada, (www.analyticsystems.com) manufactures a wide range of high performance Power Conversion products including AC and DC source Battery Chargers, DC to DC voltage converters, AC to DC power supplies and DC to AC inverters for Military, Marine, Industrial, and Alternative Energy applications throughout North America and around the world.
Northrop Grumman Ship Systems is the prime contractor in an industry alliance to design, build and support 12 of the U.S. Navy's newest, most technically advanced amphibious transport dock ships. Developed and built at the Maritime Technology Center of Excellence on the grounds of Northrop Grumman Ship Systems' main
shipyard in New Orleans. The $40 million building houses Ship Systems' LPD 17 Alliance.
