Analytic
Systems manufactures a number of products for
the motorsports industry. These include in-car
converters to stabilize a 12V battery, in-car
converters to stabilize a 12V battery, in-car
converters to create 24V for special applications
such as cool suits, inverters for making AC
power in the pits, and battery chargers for
12, 16 or 24V batteries.

The
VTC305R-12-12
converter takes the voltage from the battery and steps
it up to between 14.0 and 17.5 volts (user selectable).
It will hold the voltage at that level until every amp-hour
is exhausted from the battery to maximize the run time
of the vehicle. This is especially useful if the vehicle
doesn't have an alternator, or if the alternator fails
during the race. It also allows a 16V ignition to be run
from a 12V battery, eliminating the need for special batteries
or chargers. When turned off, or in the event of a failure
of the unit, the voltage is passed straight through with
a minimal drop through a Schottky diode. The unit also
has an alarm that indicates when the battery is about
to die to permit a pit stop to replace it.
The VTC305R-12-24
converter takes the voltage from the battery and steps
it up to 24 volts. The most common use for this converter
is to run 24-volt driver cooling equipment. |

Often
a racecar battery needs a fast, accurate recharge between
track sessions. Analytic Systems chargers, such as the
BCA310-110-12 or
BCA310-110-16
provide up to 25 amps of charging current using a proven
3 stage charging profile to quickly and accurately recharge
a 12 or 16 volt battery. When the charging light goes
out, the battery is ready to use.
New for 2005 is the BCA1501 charger. This rugged
handheld charger provides up to 1200 watts for charging
power; (75 amps for a 12V or 16V battery, 45 amps for
a 24V battery or 30 amps for the new automotive 42 volts)
and weighs only 12 pounds! |

Often
AC power is needed in the pits. A simple source of AC
is to use an inverter that runs off the tow vehicle battery.
The Analytic Systems PSE-12175A inverter provides up to 1500 Watts of AC power (3000W
Surge) to run work lights, tools, computers or anything
else that needs AC power to operate.
