(04/27/2012) Anniston Army Depot Contract Award To Analytic Systems
April 27, 2012 Analytic Systems has just received one of its largest contracts to date from Anniston Army Depot for an IED Defeat Program. Analytic Systems is proud to be a part of four separate IED Defeat programs using a number of different COTS and customized products. Analytic Systems has modified its existing military battery charger, the LIAC600-28 used by the Army and USMC in their ITAS weapons System for this anti-IED application.

February 2, 2012, Delta, BC, Canada, Analytic Systems has received their first contract for their high performance customized DC/AC Inverters (model IPS300-24-110UE) that will power equipment within the US Army’s AN/TRC-190 tactical communication shelters. Ultra Electronics TCS contracted Analytic Systems to provide Analytic Systems’ inverters due to their high reliability and rugged designs.

(01/16/2012) Analytic Systems Certified to AS9100
January 16, 2012 Delta, BC, Canada, Analytic Systems is pleased to announce that they have been certified to the International Standards Organization (Certificate number AS-1197), Aerospace AS9100 Quality Management System. On the heels of being certified to ISO9001-2008 one year ago, Analytic Systems decided to upgrade to the Aerospace Certification. AS9100 fully incorporates the entirety of the current version of ISO9001 while adding additional requirements relating to quality and safety. Major aerospace manufacturers and suppliers worldwide require compliance and/or registration to AS9100 as a condition of doing business with them.

(08/02/2011) Analytic Systems Awarded US Army Subcontract
Analytic Systems is proud to announce that it has again been awarded the subcontract to manufacture the power supply for the US Army's Modern Burner Unit (MBU) program through the Energy Solutions Division of Teleflex Canada. After an exhaustive evaluation of power supply manufacturers on both sides of the border, Teleflex selected Analytic Systems to manufacture the power supplies for the program. Two years of development and testing culminated in Analytic Systems initially being certified as the manufacturer and supplier of the MBU power supply in late 2002. Since then over 10,000 units are now in theatre and have enjoyed a less than 0.01% return rate.

Over 120 units of their ruggedized 1500 Watt Military Power Supply; this is their second major order on this program in 2011. This unit is specifically modified to meet the Army’s in-theatre requirements, to operate their portable radar system. Analytic Systems has been working with the Army since mid-2004 on the design, upgrades, modifications and production of this Military Power Supply. Hundreds of units are in-theatre at this time with a less than 1% return/repair rate.

Analytic Systems is pleased to announce that they have been certified to the International Standards Organization, ISO 9001-2008. In September/2010 Analytic Systems proceeded through their first audit with the help of their ISO auditor from Intertek Testing Services, with no problem. Their second and final audit in early November/2010 was equally as well completed, so Intertek recommended immediate certification. The contract is for a COTS military battery charger, NATO Stock Number: NSN 6130-20-002-2433, as part of their 5 year program. This charger is specifically designed to recharge a Saft America Lithium-Ion battery that is an integral part of a HMMWV mounted weapons system. After 16 years in a Surrey industrial strata complex, growing from one strata unit to 7 spread throughout the complex, it was time to move to a larger and more efficient manufacturing plant. The Lean Manufacturing philosophy that has been the basis of Analytic Systems growth and success over the past three years has really been the impetus for the move.
The new plant is in a large industrial park in Delta, BC (8128 River Way). At about 33,000 square feet it more than doubles the space in our current Surrey, BC location about 10 minutes away.

(08/07/2008) Analytic Systems wins new Aluminum Chambered Boats contract
Analytic Systems is pleased to announce that Aluminum Chambered Boats, Inc. of Bellingham, Washington, has awarded them new orders for their COTS militarized voltage converter, VTC1015MS-24-12. This 24 VDC to 12 VDC voltage converter is specifically modified to meet the rugged conditions in which the 34’ workboat will find itself in US Marine Corps overseas operations. The VTC1015MS-24-12 provides 60 Amps, to power navigational equipment. ACB anticipates building a minimum, four boats per month with one week duration between boats, there are 42 boats to be built on this remaining contract. The ACB boat is an 8.2m MKIII BEB (bridge erection boat) that is billed as “virtually unsinkable”.

(01/31/2008) Analytic Systems supports LMCO/USMC, Combat Convoy Simulator
The US Marine Corps has purchased the Lockheed Martin, Combat Convoy Simulator program, an immersive training program that teaches crews how to handle hazardous situations while driving in urban war zones. Analytic Systems has confirmed that their DC/DC Battery Chargers are used in the CCS program. The model BCD305-12-24, is a rugged charger that provides up to 13 Amps of clean, steady power. It was originally designed for the commercial marine market but fits easily into the military marketplace due to its rugged construction and low EMI.

Through Analytic Systems’ GSA contract, contract# GS-07F-5624R, both the USMC and the US Army have awarded Analytic Systems the largest continuing order for a COTS military battery charger, NATO Stock Number: NSN 6130-20-002-2433, in the 5 year program. This charger is specifically designed to recharge a Saft America Lithium-Ion battery that is an integral part of a HMMWV mounted weapons system. The charger is also vehicle mounted and will operate from any source of AC. It is designed to be used in extreme environments and is the first in a series water-tight power conversion products using a unique new chassis design. A DC-DC version is also available.

Analytic Systems is pleased to announce that they are the recipient of the 1st Annual Surrey Export Award for Manufacturing in Surrey B.C. On April 4th, 2007, the Surrey Board of Trade held its inaugural “International Trade Dinner and Export Awards”. There were twenty six entries for the Export Award, in the category of Manufacturing. After narrowing down the entries to four nominees, Analytic Systems came home with the hardware. “We expect 2007 will be a strong growth year for export sales based on first quarter results and booked orders” says Bill Walker, Vice President, Sales and Marketing.

Close Combat Weapons Systems (CCWS) of Redstone Arsenal, Alabama has awarded Analytic Systems a continuing order for a
COTS military battery charger, the LIAC600-28. This charger is specifically designed to recharge the Saft America Lithium-Ion battery that is an integral part of the Humvee mounted ITAS weapons system. The battery charger is also vehicle mounted and will operate from any source of AC (from 90 to 240 VAC and 45 – 440 Hertz). The charger is designed to be used in extreme environments and was the first in a series of watertight power conversion products that now include a power supply and DC/DC converter. A DC-DC version is also available, LIDC600-24-28.

(12/21/2006) Analytic Systems Receives Inverter Contract From Noralta Controls
Analytic Systems is supplying Noralta Controls through a local reseller, with 300 units of its model IQS300C1w-12-110 300 Watt AC/DC inverter that includes a wide temperature (-40C).
The IQS300C1w-12-110 inverters are being used to electronically ignite and power a new tank burner system, developed by A-Fire and Noralta, to improve tank burner safety, reduce emissions, and to comply with regulations at an affordable price.

(12/13/2006) Analytic Systems Provides Power Solution to LMCO Portable VHF/UHF Transceiver System
Lockheed Martin were trying to develop a prototype portable VHF/UHF Transceiver system for Government use. There biggest problem was power. They needed a wide input range power supply and voltage converter for use in difficult conditions. Maximum operating temperature would be +55°C but there could be no forced cooling. The unit(s) also needed to be rugged and enclosed. Mil Spec connectors would be needed, and they needed to be able to power their portable VHF/UHF Transceiver system from whatever is available, AC or DC, military or commercial.
Analytic Systems was asked to provide two complimentary systems to solve the problem.

SeaARK Boats has awarded Analytic Systems the first orders for a COTS militarized voltage converter, VTC1015mil-24-12, for SeaArk's Model 34' RAM. This 24 VDC to 12 VDC voltage converter is specifically modified to meet the rugged conditions the 34’ workboat will find itself in. SeaArk’s contract is for the USCG.

(02/01/2006) Analytic Systems provides High Performance Voltage Converters Ministry of Defense - Morocco
Analytic Systems, a Canadian manufacturer of high performance power conversion products for military and commercial/industrial applications, has won a contract from the Ministry of Defense in Morocco, through one of its US agents. One hundred units of a specialized high output voltage converter, model number VTC120ih-12-15, are to be used for a military communications application. The unit is modified for and has been trialed in the Moroccan desert at very high temperatures. This is similar to a unit Motorola spec’d for 600+ cellular tower sites in Malaysia.
