Senior Design Engineer

The successful candidate will be experienced in designing power electronics and electronics architectures. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing power conversion products including solar systems, grid-tie systems and stand alone electronics (ie. DC/DC converters, battery chargers and inverters), and developing PCB designs and layouts. Responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, and preparing costs, estimates and design specifications.

Co-op Experience

Ravi Panchal, Simon Fraser University

As a Mechanical Designer, my tasks included assisting the engineering staff in developing and designing existing and new products. I assisted with documentation, and improving the company's SolidWorks database of parts. My time with Analytic Systems has been most valuable to me since I was being exposed to the industry as an engineer for the first time. The company has a great culture and atmosphere, and it has been a pleasure to complete my internship with them.

During my co-op there, there were always new projects being announced by more and more of their big customers. Analytic deals extensively with military projects including their AC/DC 3 Phase UPS Power Supply with DC/DC Battery backup and that was the primary project I was working on. This is a great company...and since they are still growing, it's easy to get involved on a deeper level with their products.
